Drawn To Nostalgia By Jacqueline O.

It would definitely be very interesting to start the month of November with "Drawn To Nostalgia" at The Little Dröm Store. The video shares Jacqueline personal story of how she overcame her circumstances and conceived this exhibition.

I've started in the recent years to dig out toys and stuffs from my childhood and rediscover places I used to visit when I was young. At the same time, I'm afraid that our little red dot changes too fast for me to appreciate and look back the old and forgotten places. All the little pieces of memories do bring back much joy for myself and as I look back sometimes, I reminded myself to take a step forward to step out of that comfort zone.

The nostalgic white rabbit creamy candy and gem biscuits are just some of the available tote bag designs and do drop by the little dröm store for more. May them bring back some of your childhood memories :)

These were the bits and pieces of my 2012 vacation in the Bangkok, from wandering to discovering and enjoying myself so much that I do start to miss Bangkok when I'm writing this post. I realized I'm enjoying so much that the photos are less than I've imaging. There were too many indie shops and cafes to discover and this would be a good reason to visit again.

I do hope my next visit would be soon ! I am loving Thailand !

I felt as though I've stepped into a laboratory but this is an ice cream shop that uses liquid nitrogen to flash freeze their ice cream in just 30 seconds. I choose chocolate which is the safest option of all. Smooth and creamy, simply yummylicious. Just steps away from Spoonful, you can find yourself some novelty find or if you need a more convenient location then visit their branch in Siam Paragon.

I can't be more happy to visit another zakka shop cum cafe in the Bangkok city. Parden Cafe & Zakka managed by the friendly Thai + Japanese husband and wife team was a gem hidden in the Sukhumvit area. This little shop reminded me of a home serving fruit parfaits, cakes and authentic Japanese cuisine. Besides food, Parden sells a variety of zakka goods 雑貨 from household items to clothing. Head down soon, such quaint shop in Bangkok is a pleasure to visit especially if you have enough of the usual shopping.

[ Thailand ] Nom Nom .... Too Fast To Sleep

IMG_3591
I had a hard time finding Too Fast To Sleep, basically the taxi driver had never heard of this place and was questioning me why I had to go this empty area in midnight. I've kept asking myself am I right to insist on going but was in luck to catch a glimpse of the bright lit building next to a temple when my taxi driver was grumbling on the road.

Serving simple food menu and a wide range of drinks this is the right place for student seeking for a comfortable studying place. I was shocked to see full house on a Wednesday morning 1.30am. My sight must be failing me, this place is practically all filled with students except my companion and me. There are people sitting from the cafe, to the timber step flooring and to the al fresco on the level one of the building. All I want to say they are really a "hardworking" bunch at this time lol.

Spare some time Too Fast To Sleep in the midnight if you are a late owl like me and enjoy the huge space and beautiful interior decor in the 24/7 cafe.
