I have read somewhere about SunnyHills been a household name and they have opened their first international shop in Raffles Hotel. I was warmly greeted :) Despite the hot sun, somehow I managed to cool down with my first cup of hot Summer Oolong tea and their signature Pineapple Tart.

She patiently explained to me about their tarts were made using the finest ingredients - cayenne pineapples are grown in Taiwan, gourmet baking flour from Japan and pure New Zealand butter. The kitchen production is still in Taiwan and products are then freshly delivered to Singapore. The buttery fragrant crust and the huge fibrous chunks of pineapple filling is definitely my choice of pineapple tart. One piece is just not enough :)

Nom Nom .... Tiong Bahru Bakery

We just love new opening don't we, especially in the indie neighbourhood ? Probably this is the favourite past time for many in this little island. It was fully packed on a Tuesday 11am and I can see more flogging community. I do not want to highlight on how great or famous is the baker, read here if you keen to know more.

The signature croissants and squid ink bread are the must try in shop. I am loving the buttery flaky crispy layers of the croissant and when slightly toasted at home, it tasted even better with the crispness.

Food tasted was good but I was put off by the crowd and the lack of service. I be coming for more or maybe I should hold till they open the other branch in Raffles City.

Chun Bee

Supermama

Prior to my last visit, this was the first place that came to my mind when I was thinking of getting a present for baby SS. Somehow I was disappointed when I stepped in, realizing that the children room that Supermama used to have, was converted to display watches and clocks. Not that I do not like the goods in store ... I just do not like the idea.

Though the missing of children items but overall, there are still many creative items in store that I like. This is the rare few shops in Singapore that do allow you to take photograph indoor and not afraid of anyone copying ideas. So do drop by while the 10% discount is still available and support the wonderful things in store.
