Colors Monday

These dolls were in my room with much searching and difficulty. I first saw them in a shop in Amoy Street then when finally going to purchase them, they were all sold out and no way to get anymore. Finally one day I read from Lady Croissant's blog post about Ada the globetrotting doll, i was even more sure I must get one.

Colors Monday 10/01

With help from Nikki, I finally managed to get many many. I still have yet to name them yet, maybe someone can help. From what I have read, these plastic doll is known as Clonette originated in the colonial era and is made in Ghana. It was the first industrially produced African doll and can still be found on markets to this day. Heard from some people that this doll is also a fertlity doll :) what do you think ?

Though I have six, I would still like more color such as red and black. Am I too greedy ??? With so many choices of colors, who wouldn't wish for more.

Project No.01

Bought lots of cloths in plain colors, pokka dots and nesting dolls for preparation to make a birthday present for my dearest sister. This is my first attempt trying to sew something. The textile owner said that I am very ambitious as a first timer and wish me luck. I hope so this can be ready in time and may it be as beautiful as I thought it should be.

Etsy Pick Of The Week

The felt creation from ememen are all so adorable, many of the bears caught my eyes but I am just too lost. Emily is the crafter while Tom is behind the stories. On their blog you can find spawning little stories, some drawings, spilling some secrets, maybe offering some specials, and most importantly, you will find out the story behind the bears. Check out their shop and I am quite sure there will be something that you fall in love with.

Colors Monday

Was Monday the most boring day of the week? As a lazy bug of three years, sometimes I have MONDAY BLUES too. For those in need of a little happiness, I hope COLORS MONDAY will cheer you up especially with these pantone chip cookies by Kim Neill.
