Nom Nom .... Drury Lane

Search online and I found on Wikipedia that "Drury lane is a street on the eastern boundary of the Covent Garden area of London, running between Aldwych and High Holborn" but now in Tanjong Pager you can find Drury Lane too except that it is now the name of a new cafe. Not sure why they named it Drury Lane but surely this name is easy to remember.

I am always impressed with the courage of people opening new establishment recently, unless the food and drinks are really bad if not I will still try to share as much as possible. I like the all day breakfast menu even though my Big breakfast was just normal and the portion was a bit too small. Seriously I do not like the taste of my baked beans. I left Drury Lane Cafe with smell on my clothes and hair even though I was sitting on the second level.

I was overjoyed to find a good cafe near to my doctor and have already foreseen myself would be spending hours here every week. Considering the numbers of cafe nearby Duxton Hill area, Department Of Caffeine (D.O.C) was one of the better one that I've visited so far. The industrial chic concept was well designed from the exterior to the interior (even the bathroom). Serving good coffee sourced from Australian coffee roaster Five Senses, I love my mocha totally. Besides coffee, what impressed me was the delectable pulled pork sandwich accompanied with French beans and mangetout with hazelnuts & Orange salad. Eventually I also gave in to the tiramisu in store :)

If you are looking for a good morning perk-up jolt or a cafe with a comprehensive menu, this is the place.

PS: Try to come before lunch hours, this new jolt could be packed.

Nom Nom .... The Plain // Drip Bakery

Good Morning ! We started our brunch in The Plain.

Not packed with people, just right to start the day.

Later in the day we headed to the newly opened Drips Bakery Cafe. Entering a big shop but somehow seems quite empty and incomplete. Rather limited selection of food and drinks but since this is somewhere before dinner time, I am alright :(
