Nom Nom .... Liberty Coffee

They are OPEN today, what a pleasant surprise that caught me unprepared upon checking Liberty Coffee facebook page. Open by a husband and wife team, Terence is Liberty Coffee’s Barista and Coffee Roaster while his wife Pauline is the in house baker. Due to the operation of roasting coffee beans, Liberty do not operate regular hours, it would be wise to check their updates on facebook before popping by.

 

 

 

 

 

Pardon me for so little photos of the cakes in Liberty Coffee as they sold out very fast and most of the remaining I saw was reserved. The only left to taste was Orange Cake with lemon curd, the refreshing tangy taste was just right. I enjoyed my El Salvador finca la guachoca coffee creamy dark chocolate of buttery toast and mild plum-like acidity. The gentleman sitting next to me is tempting me with the Chocolate Cherry Cup that Pauline secretly served ( I guess it was not for sale). I be coming back soon for the coffee as well as the cakes but I be early.

A newly opened cafe to spend the Wednesday afternoon before collecting my air tickets from JAL. Stepping in,  I liked what is welcoming me.

 

Alluring level 2 with mismatched furniture.

Seems like someone's dining area at home ...

.... and living room.

Dreamy lacy curtains.

 

Old sewing machine as table top.

 

Afternoon is the time for coffee again, this time stepping it just can't stopped looking at the huge COFFEE words displayed. We were too full to eat anything so just caffeine for us.

I am sure this is now a hidden place, many would have known and tried. This quaint cafe is a must visit place for me everytime I am in this tiny town. A place that I always rested and do not want to move on.
