The Gift Paper Book

If you've been collecting and buying Frankie magazine, you'll know that even though there are newer magazines such Smith Journal, Kinfolk and Cereal but Frankie could not be replaced by them. For a long time, heading down to Kinokuniya to get my copy of Frankie were my routine but getting the rest of the Frankie Press items here are not as easy.  How I wish Kino could stock up The Gift Paper Book and here's a cute video from Frankie Magazine to tempt you.

Someone please get me a copy !

Reading【Mirai-chan 川岛小鸟 未来ちゃん】

Mirai-Chan's expressive face caught my attention and I just had to get the book from Public Garden flea market . The photographs taken by Tokyo-based photographer Kotori Kawashima were shot on Sado Island over a period of one year, which means in the over 200 pages photobook you will get to see the girl's personality and all her little childhood moments in four seasons.

Encounters《邂逅》

I've first spotted Encounters in Cat Socrates and later weeks later at Public Garden. What caught my attention of the magazine was that it was bilingual publication by Original Studio, the same group behind the travel guide to Singapore alter:sg.

Encounters features creative lifestyle and unique experiences. The book explored the conceptualisation of creative activities, documenting the stories of people, and collect beautiful things and moments from every day life and travelling. You can buy the magazine online and is now available on pdf version. A Good read that we should support !
