Colors Monday 【Channel 67】

I'm quite sure after the long weekend holiday, working today must be a torture for you. I chanced upon this project Channel Rokunana (67 in japanese) by three Japanese photographers showing their love for the Pentax 6×7.  Kiyoshimachine created the Pentax 67 helmets to be worn for photoshoot and every shot captured from his family members, newly married couple to hair designer are so entertaining and fun. For more whimiscal shots, you can check out at his website or flickr.

Creative People + Projects

Here's a good photo project - Creative People + Projects for you if just want to spend indoor to escape the hot weather. The portrait project by Rebecca Toh of Casual Poet Culture came about when she realized how far away she was from the people she admires. Then she remembered that she has a camera... "and that with a camera one always has the perfect excuse to get closer, to walk into lives, to achieve a form of intimacy that is usually unattainable. I hope this photo project will eventually be a record of some of these moments spent with these wonderful, super-talented people."

I love how she took account of the little details and no need much words, every picture have a story to tell. How I wish that there would be more of such good personal project here and may you take your time to enjoy !

Mirai-Chan's expressive face caught my attention and I just had to get the book from Public Garden flea market . The photographs taken by Tokyo-based photographer Kotori Kawashima were shot on Sado Island over a period of one year, which means in the over 200 pages photobook you will get to see the girl's personality and all her little childhood moments in four seasons.

Check out more incredibly cute photos here and here.
