I guess I've arrived late since most of the bakes are gone, the whole look of 1919, which is Gula Melaka cake with kaya cream cheese and almond brittle attracted me. There are only two communal tables and it may be full on weekend I guess. With the sharing of tables, I enjoyed hearing people chatting around me and I even make a new friend here chatting on food and travel. We both felt that the food and drinks here are affordable and very homely but the portions are too big for us. Personally I've tasted and liked their apple oolong tea which is from the premium tea boutique Tea Bone Zen Mind. Hope to come back on a weekday where is not so crowded and more selections available. Do check on their facebook regularly if you'll like to learn some baking skills as they do conduct classes here as well.
