Nom Nom .... Wimbly Lu

Chocoholics heaven at Wimbly Lu is definitely a well hidden gem in Jalan Riang. You will know that you found the place upon seeing the iconic 70s beetle red. I make no plan to visit this place on a Sunday and never expect the crowds. I must be lucky to get the last seat in the cafe near the entrance * although this is the most disturbing seats.

This place reminded me of Carpenter and Cook somehow. We tasted the most yummy crepe with maple syrup top up with salted caramel ice cream, just one portion is not enough. Tucked within the private estate, is not easy to find parking lots during the weekends so the next time I be here to try their famous Rocky Rock and Rootbeer Float Cake on a weekday.

Kombi rocks have always been one must my " must visit " eatery in my invisible list for a long long time. Previously known as Koon Kee Restaurant & Pub that is famous for the Hor Fun, it is now Kombi Rocks Diner (after the boss's retirement) that serves home cooked Thai / Chinese fares. If you see the old vintage cars or vans in the vicinity then you are in the right place. The place is decorated with lots of retro vintage stuffs and some vehicles in the shop are available for rent for functions or photo taking. My dear friend Juwind rent the Sugar baby Kombi for her anniversary photo taking and the photos taken by Yen are really ♥ S-W-E-E-T ♥ do check it out !
