Chye Seng Huat Hardware (再成發五金) was previously home to many metal and hardware companies. As I read from the intro, the name of the building was collaboratively conceived by the landlord and Papa Palheta, to pay tribute to the hardware heritage of the site and vicinity. From the outlook is hard to detect that there is a cafe hiding inside. CSHH is home to Papa Palheta and having made this their flagship store.
CSHH houses the
Roastery, the
CSHH coffee bar where you can see the barista making coffee right infront of your seat, the
Retail where you can purchase their signature roast and coffee-related hardware, the
Annex for coffee tasting sessions and
C-PlatForm in the same compound.
Though we waited a long time for seats, we had a good time here with the coffee and food. It was very interesting to see the industrial decor cafe using bolts and nuts and other hardware items as namecard holder and menu board. The whole place is buzzing with energy, I love the vibes here.
