The second edition of iLight Festival @ Marina Bay Waterfront themed "Light Meets Asia" focused more on works from asia this year. Out of the 31 installations, I only managed to visit a few and they are simply stunning and amazing.

Nom Nom .... L Etoile Cafe // Jewel Coffee
A newly opened cafe to spend the Wednesday afternoon before collecting my air tickets from JAL. Stepping in, I liked what is welcoming me.
Alluring level 2 with mismatched furniture.
Seems like someone's dining area at home ...
.... and living room.
Dreamy lacy curtains.
Old sewing machine as table top.
Afternoon is the time for coffee again, this time stepping it just can't stopped looking at the huge COFFEE words displayed. We were too full to eat anything so just caffeine for us.

Yasmeen Ismail
I am loving the whimsical work of Yasmeen Ismail who is based in London. All her illustration and animation are simply adoring. Check out more of Yasmeen's portfolio and you will fall in love with them too.
Imaginary Vacation Friday
Have you ever wonder how special would it be to spend a night in business class without having to pay the full fare. This is possible on the most entertaining concepts which is actually a Boeing 747 Jumbo Jet hostel on ground in Stockholm, Sweden. Jumbo Stay a hostel with twenty four smart dormitory-style rooms in the main deck and one double bedroom suite in the cockpit. The most interesting chill out place on board is the accessible left wing of the plane.
Read about the history of Jumbo Stay from their website "The airplane, a decommissioned model 747-200 jumbo jet built in 1976, was last operated by Transjet, a Swedish airline that went bankrupt in 2002. It was originally built for Singapore Airlines and later served with legendary Pan Am." What sure what happened to the Singapore Airlines part, for now I only hope for a stay on board that's all.
